How provider verification works

Software helps with the checking, but a person makes the call whenever it isn't obvious. Here's the shape of it.

The four steps

1

You submit. A government photo ID, an address, and a phone number we confirm by OTP.

2

We read and cross-check. Your documents are extracted and compared against what you entered.

3

Clear cases go through automatically — good or bad. A clean match passes right away. An obvious fraud signal gets rejected right away too. Neither needs a person to weigh in.

4

Anything unclear goes to a real person. A mismatch or anything the automated check can't call confidently gets resolved by a human before your profile goes live.

No one gets waved through

If your case is sitting with a reviewer, it stays that way until someone actually looks at it — never auto-approved just because the queue was slow. "Verified" always means an actual check happened, not that enough time passed.

What we're not sharing

We don't publish the exact signals that trigger an automatic rejection. That's mostly useful for working around it, not for getting your real documents approved faster.
