Providers hand over real documents to get verified. Here's what actually happens to them.
Your data is stored in your own country's region, because that's what your local data protection law requires — not just wherever's easiest for us. As VisitGrid launches in new countries, each one gets its own regional storage to match its own law.
A provider's documents exist to confirm one thing: that they're who they say they are. Automated checks handle most of it; a human sees them only when a case actually needs a person to decide. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared beyond what verifying you actually requires.
We keep verification data while your account is active, plus a reasonable window after it closes in case a dispute comes up — then it's deleted automatically, not by someone remembering to clean it up.
Depending on where you are, you may be able to access, correct, or request deletion of your data. Contact us to do that, or see our full Privacy Policy.
